WHAT WE DO
Our consultants are well-versed, specialized and trained in community development and are available to support towards the establishment of grassroots community agencies, provide training in capacity building for board of directors and their frontline staff.
ACCC also provides training and consultancy in program development, program design, program evaluation, community needs assessment, research, proposal writing, employment and career planning, Counselling and Case management as required.
OUR VISION
African Canadian Community Consultants(ACCC) is a Canadian registered organization that leverages the expertise, knowledge and professional related resources from a variety of industries and sector specific in partnership with community businesses, corporation, professional institutions, non for profit, faith based organization, government departments towards professional development, skill training, mentorship, volunteer / student placement towards enhancing socio-economic, cultural and technological advancement.
Our Mission
The organization’s mandate is to partner with professionals in various industries and sectors for the purpose of knowledge sharing, skills development, career planning, seminars, conferences, workshops towards socio-economic, cultural and technological advancement. ACCC’s mandate is also to actively advocate for members of the community in need of social justice with the help of established and reputable lawyers in Canada. Overall mandate is towards self reliance, capacity building and building a vibrant society.
Community Engagement
ACCC provides support to agencies on the principles of community development and engagement. Our staff are specialized event planners such as how to plan and organize public events, promoting community issues and needs, experts on using social media to create awareness, marketing and advertisement of events local, national or international level.
Community and Social Services.
ACCC will continue to partner with community agencies, faith based organizations, professional organizations, government departments and community businesses towards advocacy, policy and program development to address equity, diversity and inclusion. Our focus is also to provide immediate social services support such as information, referrals, advocacy, counselling, conflict resolution and anger management and other intervention strategies to address needs and issues faced by marginalized members of the community.
Educational Workshops/Seminars and Conference
ACCC works closely with the community in organizing workshops and discussions that addresses changes in Canadian labor market, social justice, equity, diversity and inclusion, anti racism, human rights, social capital, community development, political education, cultural education, social barriers, challenges and opportunities.
Professional Development and Career Planning
ACCC organizes programs that supports professional and career development through mentorship and job placement. Our goal and objective is to promote knowledge transfer from various sector specific \ industries, professions, career or services in both the public and private sectors in Canada and other parts of the world.
Youth Mentorship and Job placement and Skills Training
ACCC youth employment program involves components such as planning and implementation of a community-based employment initiative. Youth Employment Component is an important initiative designed to build the employability of unemployed and newcomers youth through mentorship, job placement and skills training/trades. This is to prepare youth to compete in global economy and also the Canadian labor market.
Employment Services/Placement-(Foreign Trained Professionals and Refugees with work permit)
ACCC consultants are available to support clients / newcomers / youth to understand the Canadian labor market and the work place culture; provide business information on top ranking companies, industries and sectors. The agency also work the client through resume writing, job interview preparation and mock interview especially first-time job seekers through various job search technique and strategies.
ACCC has a partnership with professional Association to support newcomers and Canadians who are preparing to get into the labor market by assisting with the process of credential evaluation, professional licensing and accessing financial support towards professional certification in partnership with government departments, corporate organizations, non-for-profit, professional associations, institutions and other various professional bodies.
Mentorship / Internship Students
ACCC works closely with foreign trained professionals, interns, students and youth from various professions to enable them acquire Canadian experience by matching them with successful professionals in various sectors, industries and services to acquire Canadian experience and understand Canadian work ethic through job placement, internship and volunteer/student placements.
Non-profit Start-Up Support
Starting a new community agency can be exciting but also overwhelming. It requires lots of time and effort. ACCC offers training and solutions to get your start-up on fast track, including your registration, leadership coaching, strategic direction, capacity building, administrative and financial systems, as well as branding and website development.
Professional Networking Club
ACCC has a strong networking advantage that allows professionals who are specialized in various sectors meet with other professional, network, learn about community needs and issues, government policy, program, services. The benefit is to better serve the Canadian population and develop a network to better the community we all serve.

Community Research
ACCC will support agencies with community research - evidence based approach to achieve change. ACCC continue to collaborate with professional associations, government department, industrial sectors, community businesses and community organization through community participation and bringing group members together to define a common vision, and goal of identifying issues, finding solution as a fundamental organizing skill.
Community Needs Assessment
ACCC works with organizations to conduct community needs assessment so as to gain valuable information about the needs, issues and demographic pattern of the communities you want to serve. Research data and findings can be used to design new programs and services that targets the population you want to serve, It can also be used to affirm the relevance of the agency current programs and services, promote collaborations among community partners and justify grant requests.
Community Action
Community Action/Cohesion is an overarching goal to create opportunities to bring together neighbourhoods working together; engaging diverse populations in positive community activities together. The goal is to help build a directly engagement by bringing the community together around socio-economic, health, employment, technological advancement, community development issues and cultural events. This also helps to mobilize, build leadership, participation among the community stakeholders and bring together residents and community organizations in a comprehensive planning process aimed at developing community-based solutions to various community issues.
